March 27

night moon modified

Slowly, silently, now the moon
disc appears above the trees.
Driving home late,
a full bladder and eyes waning,
worrying about my relationships.

Slowly, silently, now the moon
disc appears above the trees.
Quarter way home,
turning corners and catching it,
in and out of view.

Slowly, silently, now the moon
disc appears above the trees.
The sky was nothing
before this rising, full circle
pulled me up like a bobber.
